Loading ...An oyster card application comes in two different forms. You can apply for a pay monthly oyster card and have to top up every time your balance reaches zero, or you can combine your credit card with your oystercard (oystercard visa) so you never run out of oyster card funds again…
The oyster visa card is FREE to apply for and you can be approved in under 60 seconds. They Barclaycard oyster card also allows you to pay for small items (you’ve probably seen people using this) by “swiping” their card just like on the tube.
The card is offered by barclay card and does not require you to top up your oystercard manually. Most London commuters have already upgraded their card to the Oyster Credit card as it offers cheaper travel for underground commuters and oystercard users.
