Guaranteed Approval Credit Cards - Do They Exist?
By Hillary Smith • May 13th, 2008 • Customer RatingWhat are Guaranteed Approval Credit Cards? Well, to be honest, there is no such thing. Banks are not stupid and just like you or me, they consider certain things when it comes to business. With the current economic slowdown, never has this been more apparent. While there is no such thing as a “Guaranteed Approval Credit Card” there is such thing as an “Almost Guaranteed Approval Credit Card”…
Basically, banks want to give as many people credit cards as possible. However, with so many people going bankrupt and simply not paying back their bill, banks are being cautious. Most require a credit check. That can be problematic if you have bad credit. But there is a solution…
To get an “almost” Guaranteed approval card, you have two options. The first is the bad credit vanquis card. You can apply for it here. It is basically a higher interest rate card than a normal card with a lower limit. Practically everyone is accepted.
The other alternative is a prepaid mastercard. These little beauties are exactly the same as a credit card (you can buy stuff online or order over the phone except you can only spend what you put on your card. They also have a 100% acceptance rate. Just like a pay as you go phone. Even better is that they LOOK like a normal credit card too, so noone down your local ASDA knows it’s prepaid. You can take a look at the only three prepaid cards that we reccomend here:
The Cashplus Prepaid Card
The Tuxedo Prepaid Card
The Virgin Prepaid card
