Cash Plus Prepaid Business Mastercard Coming Soon!

Loading ...Some very close sources have revealed some interesting information this week. It appears that APS, the issuers of the cash plus prepaid mastercard will be releasing a much needed version of their prepaid debit card for businesses! This will be the first of it’s kind in the UK and and has been called for by small business owners and those self employed for years now…
So what is the difference between this and the normal personal prepaid mastercard?
While the jury is still out, our sources tell us that there will be a much larger load limit for the card, initial reports say up to £5000! This will be very useful for new businesses with no credit rating or those that are self employed. Especially those who spend quite a lot on online advertising. Without a business credit card it can be very difficult to launch online.
The Cashplus business prepaid mastercard is rumored to have all the great features of the cashplus gold prepaid mastercard but with additional limits, the cashplus credit builder additional cards and the ability for employers to pay their employees directly onto their cards.
All in all it looks like this prepaid business card is going to have one hell of an impact on the business credit card industry. With anticipated lower fees and a 100% acceptance rate subject to UK identification, this will surly be one to watch in 2008. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

This is fantastic news Hillary. The UK really is falling behind when it comes to prepaid cards for businesses. I am a small business owner in Surrey (Close to you guys!) and because it is only a two person operation (me and my wife) we have been declined credit despite having perfect credit scores ourselves. We currently use a normal cashplus card for our business expenses now. I promise to leave a review when I get some time.
I am putting this down to the credit crunch and the fact that banks are idiots sometimes. What’s happening in the US is just going to happen here in the UK.
